Enrolment of Students from EU countries

Which are the documents necessary for enrolment?
 

Bachelor Degree Courses, 5-year/6-year Master degree courses
  • Final  certificate of secondary school (original or certified photocopy)1
  • Official translation in Italian of the above mentioned certificate2
  • “Dichiarazione di Valore” (original)3  As an alternative to the ‘Dichiarazione di Valore’ it can be provided a document issued by one of the ENIC-NARIC centres (see www.cimea.it) or other document issued by the Diplomatic or Consular authority of the country where the title was obtained
  • Certificate of Academic suitability (for students from countries where University admission is subject to special exams)
Students with less than 12 years of school education
Students who hold a foreign school leaving qualification awarded after a school period shorter than 12 years must submit the final certificate of secondary school together with documentation attesting at least one supplementary year of education (for those countries with an 11-year Education system) or two supplementary years (for those countries with a 10-year Education system).
Students must submit:
-the University certificate proving they passed all the exams included in the first year or the first and second year of university course
OR
-an official Italian or foreign qualification of post secondary school obtained in an Institute of Higher Education (not University) at the end of a one or two-year course in subjects relating to the university degree course chosen
OR
-a certificate issued by an Italian university proving they passed the preparatory courses (foundation courses).

The above mentioned certifications allow students to enrol only in the first year of University and cannot be evaluated for credits transfer.

Master degree courses

  • Bachelor degree (original or certified photocopy)1
  • Official translation in Italian of the above mentioned degree2
  • “Dichiarazione di Valore” (original)3  As an alternative to the ‘Dichiarazione di Valore’ it can be provided a document issued by one of the ENIC-NARIC centres (see www.cimea.it) or other document issued by the Diplomatic or Consular authority of the country where the title was
    obtained
  • Certificate (original) with the detailed subjects and exams taken to  obtain the degree1
  • Official translation in Italian of the above mentioned certificate2 (not required if the document is provided in English, French, Spanish or Potuguese)
  • Syllabus (confirmed with the original stamp of the University on each page) of each exam included in the foreign curriculum.
  • Official translation in Italian of the above mentioned syllabus2 (not required if documentation is provided in English, French, Spanish or Portuguese

All documents must be submitted in original and photocopy or scanned copy saved on a USB driver

Please note that the admission to the master degree course depends on the competent Course Board approval, which can assess, in case, the standard level requirements still missing.
Individual subject courses
  • Academic Transcript of your exams or other Academic document translated and authenticated

Alternatively, you can submit the

When and how can I enrol?

You have to submit your educational qualifications to the International Students Office (SASS) in Piazza della Nunziata 6, so that they can verify if the above mentioned documents are suitable for enrolment.
Enrollment must be confirmed within the deadlines established for each Academic Year
Students who obtain an Italian academic qualification can request the accreditation status to CIMEA (Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence)
